Historic house, 1eighty H1gh St, Heathc0te. The place appears to be going through a half hearted restoration attempt. But according to the plaque at the front "The stone structure at the rear was built in 1854 and was the first government built residence and combined office in the town. It was constructed for Philip Chauncy who was the district surveyor. From there he laid out the towns of Heathcote, Rushworth, Whroo, and Echuca. The front section of the house was added in 1897 and became a combined doctor's and residence until the 1960's."
