Kep - Cambodia. I was lucky enough to visit Cambodia recently. During my look around, I headed down south to the small seaside town of Kep. Dotted around Kep are a number of abandoned villas left over from when the French and other wealthy people inhabited the area. They range in states of disrepair. Some are inhabitable, while for others only the shell remains. Some of them are occupied by local squatters allowed to live there to protect the property. There's some really good info about the abandoned villas at this blog (click here). Anyway, here are some pics I took. It was hard to narrow down which pics to post but I hope it gives you a bit of an idea. Also a big thank you to my expert guide who showed me around while there.
